Meet the Team behind the Geek Say What? Network!

 
 

Alix Galit acts as a podcast host and moderator for the Ready Set Geek! podcast, introducing current news and topics in a way that is understandable to someone not familiar with geek and popular culture. She has extensive experience working in the entertainment industry, having choreographed and performed routines for television shows and live performances like The Big Bang Theory, Glee, MTV Productions, and the Grammy Awards.

Cole Garrison is our resident “fanboy” and enthusiast on the Ready Set Geek! podcast, able to provide gut-reaction popular opinions and, at times, dissenting points of view on topics like comic books, video games, and movies. Cole received his start in the acting/entertainment industry performing improv and stage comedy, including training with The Groundlings in Los Angeles. Performances on stage and television include the musical Starlight Express and The Big Bang Theory.

JPG is our popular culture critic on the Ready Set Geek! podcast, and acts as both a fact-checker and academic source for our various popular culture topics. In regards to education, he has received degrees in English and Secondary Education, and is currently working on advanced degrees in Creative Writing and Business Administration. JPG has been involved as guest host for various podcasts, and has taught concepts like graphic novels, science fiction, and roleplaying game mechanics for academic institutions and corporate events. JPG also acts as the the head of organizational development, in charge of logistics, scheduling, and managerial functions.

 

Justin Madriaga is the host of the Geek K.O. podcast, our bi-monthly trivia podcast addressing the latest in geek culture. Justin is an incredible freelance assistant director, and has worked on many films, which can be found on his IMDB page: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3792038/

Producer Justin is the host of the Geek Offensive podcast, focused on the depth of popular culture and for a more mature audience. Justin received his degree in Architecture from the University of San Francisco, and went on to study Animation and Filmmaking at the Academy of Art. Justin has had extensive experience working in the radio/television/film industry, working as a grip, production assistant, and sound technician for small film studios and passion projects.

Ish is the co-host of the Geek K.O. podcast, our bi-monthly trivia podcast addressing the latest in geek culture. He holds a degree in Engineering, and also performs most of the voiceover work for the GSW? Network.

 

 

Comic Shop Ken is the co-host of the Geek Offensive podcast, focused on the depth of popular culture and for a more mature audience. Known as the Events Coordinator for Comics Toons N' Toys in Tustin, California, many convention-goers recognize him for his panel hosting work for franchises like the Young Justice series.

Dr. T is a GSW? Network Team Member: an intern, revolving co-host, and geek consultant for our network of podcast. Completing her doctorate in Chemistry, Dr. T is one of the most knowledgeable sources on anything in geek culture. From Sanderson to Star Trek to saber fights, she's the ultimate source of pop culture knowledge.

Annee Law is a GSW? Network Team Member: an intern, revolving co-host, and geek consultant for our network of podcast. Annee is also an amateur cosplayer and geek aficionado for topics like Doctor Who, Tumblr, and K-Pop.

Emma Rae is a GSW? Network Team Member: an intern, revolving co-host, and geek consultant for our network of podcast. Emma is new to geek culture, and is usually used as the GSW? Network's Guinea Pig if we need a fresh take on established and beloved geek topics.
